Olivas Links

Olivas Links sits between the Santa Clara River and Ventura Harbor, on land that reflects the natural character of the Ventura coast. A steady sea breeze moderates the temperature through the year, keeping the course cool in summer and milder in winter.

The layout was designed by golf course architect Forrest Richardson, who shaped the holes to follow the existing contours of the site, with play routed along the natural swales and grooves that channel water toward the river. Trees on the property are low and wind-shaped, leaving the holes largely open, and the corridors narrow only where the ground itself curves and falls away.
