Lahontan Golf Club
About Lahontan Golf Club
Lahontan Golf Club in Truckee, California, features an 18-hole championship course designed by Tom Weiskopf, who shaped the layout around the natural character of the mountain site to create a design intended to test players across a range of abilities.
Weiskopf, winner of twenty PGA and Senior Tour titles along with five foreign championships including the Senior U.S. Open and the British Open, brought both playing and design experience to the project. His other work includes the TPC in Scottsdale, Double Eagle in Ohio, Troon and Forest Highlands in Arizona, and Loch Lomond in Scotland.
