About El Cariso Golf Course
El Cariso Golf Course is an 18-hole public layout in Sylmar, designed by Robert Muir Graves and opened in 1977. It measures 4,493 yards to a par of 62, with a mix of par 3s and par 4s and three sets of tees to suit a range of abilities. The signature 11th is a short, downhill par 3 framed by mountain views.
Fairways are planted in Kikuyu grass and the greens are Poa annua. Practice options include a night-lit driving range and several putting greens, and there is a pro shop on site.
