About Elkhorn Golf Club
Elkhorn Golf Club takes its name from the Tule Elk that once ranged across the surrounding countryside. Set off Davis Road in north Stockton, California, the club occupies 97 acres of largely level ground in the Central Valley.
The 18-hole layout is routed around three lakes and framed by many mature trees, with large greens ringed by bunkering. All eighteen putting surfaces have been replanted with Tyee 007 bentgrass. Under new ownership, the course has also seen bunker renovation, overseeding of the tees, tree pruning and arboring, and an overhaul of the irrigation system.
