About Peacock Gap Golf Club
Peacock Gap Golf Club has been part of the Marin County golf scene since 1960. The 18-hole championship layout was originally designed by William F. Bell, the architect also responsible for Torrey Pines. Over the years the course has drawn PGA professionals, including U.S. Open champion Billy Casper, and hosted celebrity tournaments featuring figures such as Bob Hope, Kirk Douglas, Lucille Ball and Dean Martin.
A 2011 renovation brought updated greens and fairways, a new clubhouse, and expanded practice facilities, including an all-grass driving range — the only one in Marin County.
Set about 25 minutes north of San Francisco, the club also accommodates tournaments and larger events.
