Rancho del Pueblo is a nine-hole executive course in East San Jose, built on the site of the former Thunderbird Golf Course, which operated privately from 1965 until June 1997.
The layout is short but not without teeth, with three lakes and extensive bunkering shaping play. Holes range from 86 to 195 yards, and two sets of tees are offered: the black tees measure 1,234 yards in total, while the gold tees play 949 yards. The scale of the course and its quick pace of play make it well suited to beginners as well as more experienced players looking for a shorter round.
