The Loma Club
About The Loma Club
The Loma Club carries more than a century of San Diego golf history, with roots in the early San Diego Country Club, which merged with A.G. Spalding's Point Loma Golf Club in 1914.
Because of its location beside the former Naval Training Center, the course served the Navy during the 1920s for recruit training and physical fitness, and golfer Sam Snead worked as head golf professional there while serving.
The present layout, set within Liberty Station, features fairways and greens designed by San Diego architect Cary Bickler, pairing the site's heritage with a contemporary playing surface.
