About Wilcox Oaks Golf Club
Wilcox Oaks Golf Club sits just north of Red Bluff on 120 acres of gently rolling oak woodland in the northern Sacramento Valley, with a layout that tests skilled players while remaining a quiet retreat.
The club traces its beginnings to 1922, when Grant Wilcox and a handful of other golf enthusiasts played on unwatered fairways and sand greens. Land was gifted to the club following Wilcox's death in 1957, after which the first well was dug and irrigation reached the opening nine holes. The full eighteen-hole course was finished in 1977 through the work of George Stutz and fellow members.
