About Mission Hills North Golf Course
Mission Hills North is a Gary Player signature design set against the San Jacinto Mountains in Rancho Mirage, with lakes, waterfalls and desert surroundings framing the play.
Player routed the course through the existing desert terrain, shaping greens and tees into the natural land where possible. Fairways are generous, and the layout has virtually no blind shots or doglegs.
Water is a defining feature, coming into play on ten holes. The par-5 11th brings water into range on all three shots to the green, and the par-4 fifth, eighth and 12th each involve water as well.
