About Annandale Golf Club
Annandale Golf Club is a private club in Pasadena, offering golf and tennis alongside a clubhouse that serves as the club's social center.
The club was founded in 1906 by a group of prominent Pasadena residents, among them railroad magnate and philanthropist Henry Huntington and George S. Patton Sr., father of the U.S. Army general. Its membership rolls over the decades included the Gamble, Kellogg and Weyerhaeuser families, drawn to Southern California's mild climate as an escape from Midwestern and Northeastern winters. Paul Runyan, a two-time PGA Championship winner and World Golf Hall of Fame member, served as the club professional during the 1950s and remained a member until his death in 2000.
