About Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort
Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort is a public golf resort in Palm Springs, California, located a short drive from Palm Springs International Airport and the city's downtown hotels and nightlife. The property features two championship courses and offers golf packages and programs.
The setting is framed by Tahquitz Canyon and the surrounding San Jacinto mountain range, giving the layout wide mountain views. The canyon also carries the local legend of Tahquitz, a banished shaman said to haunt the area.
Practice facilities include a driving range, chipping areas and putting greens. The courses are maintained with closely kept fairways, smooth greens and clearly marked hazards.
