About The Golf Center at Palm Desert
The Golf Center at Palm Desert is a practice-focused facility operated by the Desert Recreation District, located in central Palm Desert off Cook Street. It was renovated in 2019.
The practice area includes a large two-sided driving range with night lighting, chipping greens, a practice bunker and a putting green. Alongside the range is a nine-hole par-3 course with holes measuring roughly 80 to 130 yards, played to small greens that place a premium on short-iron accuracy and scoring. The combination of range, short-game areas and the par-3 layout makes the center a place geared toward learning and sharpening the game.
