About San Gorgonio Golf Course

San Gorgonio is one of two championship courses at Mountain Vista Golf Club in Palm Desert, California, both designed by Hall of Fame player Billy Casper. The layout is the more forgiving of the pair, offering an approachable test while still keeping play interesting.

Set in the Coachella Valley, the course features grass fairways and greens framed by desert mountain surroundings, with the region's abundant sunshine allowing golf through much of the year. Having two separate courses on one property makes the club something of a rarity in the Greater Palm Springs area, and San Gorgonio in particular suits newer golfers as well as more experienced players looking for a relaxed round.
