Claremont Country Club
About Claremont Country Club
Claremont Country Club is a private club in Oakland's Rockridge neighborhood, bordering the Oakland Hills and the city of Piedmont. With a history spanning more than 125 years, it centers on an 18-hole golf course that was redesigned in 1926 by architect Alister MacKenzie.
Beyond golf, the property includes a racquet sports facility with six tennis courts and four pickleball courts, an aquatics area with two outdoor pools, and a fitness building housing a cardio room, weight room, a studio for stretching and classes, and an outdoor fitness patio.
Members dine and gather in a Tudor-style clubhouse dating to 1929, which has been renovated over the years and hosts social events.
