Oso Creek Golf Course
About Oso Creek Golf Course
Oso Creek Golf Course sits just below Lake Mission Viejo in southern Orange County, roughly a half-hour drive from the region's larger cities. The par-59 layout was designed in 1970 by Southern California architect Ted Robinson, whose portfolio includes more than 160 courses. It measures about 3,670 yards and plays over Bermuda fairways to bentgrass greens, with a slope rating of 102.
Two streams, fed by underground springs and mountain runoff, wind between nearly every hole and serve as both scenery and hazard. The fairways and greens are relatively forgiving, making the course approachable for newer players. The twelfth hole plays from an elevated tee with wide views of the surrounding mountains, the clubhouse and several other holes.
