Merced Golf & Country Club
About Merced Golf & Country Club
Merced Golf & Country Club is a private, member-owned club founded in 1926. Its 18-hole, par-72 layout was designed by Bob Baldock, who routed the holes across rolling terrain shaded by a large number of mature trees. Lakes and streams run through the property, adding both scenery and strategic difficulty to the round.
Over the decades the course has hosted events organized by the USGA, the Northern California Golf Association and the PGA of America, and it has held up well under tournament conditions. Club golf is organized around several groups, including a men's tournament series, a senior club, an 18-hole ladies division and the Nine Tee Niners.
