Adams Springs Golf Course occupies a site on Cobb Mountain in Lake County, sitting at 3,050 feet above sea level and playing as a mountainous, parkland-style layout. It lies in a valley and meadow setting roughly 15 minutes north of Middletown.
The nine-hole course was designed by California architect Jack Fleming, whose routing works a relatively compact property. It measures 2,804 yards from the back tees and includes three par threes, five par fours and one par five. Separate tee boxes vary in both length and angle for the front and back nines, so golfers playing 18 holes face different tee shots and approaches the second time around.
