About Old Brockway Golf Course
Old Brockway Golf Course sits at the corner of Highway 267 and North Lake Boulevard in Kings Beach, and has been family owned and operated for more than 30 years. The nine-hole layout stretches over 3,400 yards and includes two par 5s, two par 3s and five par 4s, routed among towering Jeffrey pines with views of Lake Tahoe from every hole.
The course was built by Harry Comstock and designed by Scottish architect John Duncan Dunn, whose work also included Shinnecock Hills in New York. Its small, turtle-back greens, short walks from green to tee and tight fairways reflect the era before golf carts and steel shafts.

In the early 1930s the course drew many well-known Tahoe figures, and in 1934 and 1935 Bing Crosby held his clambake tournament here before it outgrew the site and moved to Pebble Beach.
