About Shady Canyon Golf Club

Shady Canyon Golf Club opened in 2002 in Irvine, California, on a canyon site that architect Tom Fazio chose to work with rather than against, letting the existing terrain dictate the routing and shaping of the holes.

The course measures 7,012 yards from the back tees and offers five sets of tees, a range intended to accommodate golfers across a spread of abilities while keeping the surrounding canyon landscape in play throughout the round.

The clubhouse draws on Santa Barbara-style architecture and is sited to take in views of the adjoining terrain. It functions as the club's social center, with dining and space for members to gather for meals and private celebrations.
