About The Golf Club of California

The Golf Club of California in Fallbrook is open to both members and public play. Designed by Johnny Potts and Wade Cable, the layout was routed to work with the existing landscape, weaving among mature oaks, sycamores and eucalyptus, with red-top grasses framing the fairways and contoured greens.

White sand bunkers and wildflowers add contrast across the property, while elevation changes open up views of the surrounding backcountry. Stretches of natural open space and creeks run through the course, and the design is intended to test stronger players while remaining manageable for beginners.

The clubhouse restaurant serves lunch items, appetizers and cocktails, including a burger and an apple cider salad, with patio seating overlooking the course and nearby hills. The space is also available for group gatherings and meetings.
