Davis Golf Course

Davis Golf Course is a full-service 18-hole facility in Davis, California, complemented by a driving range and two putting greens. Lessons are available for players at all levels, from first-timers to experienced golfers, and the course can host tournaments of varying sizes, including shotgun starts, with a limited number of shotgun dates each year.

The layout places its emphasis on accuracy rather than length. Out-of-bounds runs down the left side of every hole, and three holes carry out-of-bounds on both sides. Water comes into play on 15 of the 18 holes, and most fairways are fairly narrow. The greens are small and, with one exception, built as raised dishes, producing both sharply breaking putts and subtler reads that are easy to misjudge.
