About Las Posas Country Club
Las Posas Country Club opened in 1958 on hills above Camarillo, founded as a private equity club and long tied to the surrounding community. Its 18-hole layout was designed by architect Lawrence Hughes. In 2008 and 2010, Cary Bickler — who apprenticed under Hughes and went on to work on more than 100 golf projects, among them La Jolla Country Club in California and Sunrise Country Club in Nevada — reworked the tees and bunkers across both nines.

The club has a long history in the game: PGA professional Corey Pavin developed his game here, and in 1963 the course hosted a Challenge Golf match featuring Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Bob Charles and Bruce Crampton. Alongside golf, Las Posas supports social members and multi-generational families, and recognizes those who have belonged for more than 50 years as "legends."
