About Ridge Golf Course & Events Center
The Ridge plays across a 170-acre site of oak-covered knolls and hills in the Sierra foothills, with frequent rock outcroppings, open country views and no surrounding homes. The terrain shifts through roughly 100 feet of elevation change over the course of a round.
The par-71 layout was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., son of Robert Trent Jones, Sr., whose work helped shape modern golf course architecture. The design uses 48 bunkers to add demand to the rugged ground, and water comes into play on several holes. Four sets of tees allow golfers to select the level of challenge they prefer.
