Toka Sticks Golf Club

Toka Sticks Golf Club is a traditional layout in Mesa, Arizona, owned by the Gila River Indian Community. The course was designed by the Army Corps of Engineers in the early 1950s as a recreational facility for personnel stationed at Williams Air Force Base. It sits off the South Loop 202 at Power and Williams Field roads, next to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.

Grassed from tee to green, the course plays between 5,185 and 6,900 yards over level fairways lined with mature eucalyptus, mesquite, palm and palo verde. Trees and overhanging branches shape strategy on most holes, with stands guarding the corners of several doglegs and the approaches to small, elevated greens. Putting surfaces are smooth and quick, some accepting chip-and-run shots and others tiered. Water comes into play on four holes, including two par 3s that are partially surrounded by it.
