About Russellville Country Club
Russellville Country Club dates to 1926, when a group of seventy-one local men pledged funds to create a club north of town on the former Will Bruce farm. The original nine holes, laid out on the valley floor, are played today as the back nine and known locally as "the bottom 9." A clubhouse followed in 1927 and was doubled in size in 1974.
A second nine, now played as the front nine, was added in the 1970s on hilly, rolling ground quite unlike the flatter original holes, bringing scenic views to the property and completing the 18-hole layout.

A large lake was built on the back nine in 1991 to serve as a reservoir, followed in 1994 by a modern irrigation system across all 18 holes and a smaller lake on the front nine. The club also has a pool complex, rebuilt in 1987 with a pool house and cabana.
