About Hardscrabble Golf Course
Hardscrabble is a private country club in Fort Smith, Arkansas, built around an 18-hole golf course laid out in 1926 by architect Perry Maxwell.
Beyond golf, the club has tennis facilities that include two indoor courts, two outdoor hard courts and four clay courts, along with an Olympic-sized swimming pool. The clubhouse serves as the center of club life, with dining prepared by the club's chef, card playing and a calendar of social events and activities for members and their families.
