Goose Pond Plantation Golf
About Goose Pond Plantation Golf
Goose Pond Plantation Golf is part of Goose Pond Colony Resort in Scottsboro, Alabama, set where the Appalachian foothills meet the shoreline of Lake Guntersville. The surrounding landscape pairs clear water with quiet mountain views in the Tennessee Valley.
The property traces its origins to 1969, when the Tennessee Valley Authority conveyed 314 acres for public use. The resort developed in stages from that land, adding golf alongside a marina and campgrounds, with each element shaped around the lake and the terrain.
