About RTJ Golf Trail at Grand National

Grand National in Opelika is part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Its Lake course runs alongside the water for much of the round, with 12 holes set along the shoreline, making it as scenic as the neighboring Links course. The layout is known for its four par threes, including the 230-yard 15th, which plays to an island green.

Instruction is available on site from Class A PGA Professional John King, who has more than 25 years of teaching experience and works with players at all levels, combining coaching methods with modern technology.

The course also hosts the Couples Classic, held twice a year in summer and fall and limited to the first 96 teams.
