About John King Golf at RTJ Grand National

John King Golf is a coaching and instruction operation based at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Grand National in Opelika, Alabama. It focuses on player development through measured assessments and individualized practice plans aimed at building efficient, repeatable swings.

John King is a Class A PGA Professional with more than 25 years of experience in player development and high-performance coaching, working with golfers from beginners to competitive players. He is the founder of the JKG Performance Band System, a training framework built around movement patterns, sequencing and swing efficiency. His instruction draws on TrackMan, 3D motion analysis and pressure mapping to shape development plans suited to each player's physical capabilities and goals.
