About RTJ Golf Trail at Silver Lakes

Silver Lakes offers 36 holes set in the Appalachian foothills of northeast Alabama, where the routing moves through forests, wetlands and grasslands with pronounced elevation changes. The property sits alongside Lee's Lake and forms part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.

The layout is divided into three nines — the Heartbreaker, Backbreaker and Mindbreaker — plus a short course, allowing a range of combinations and difficulty. All 36 greens are planted with Champion Ultradwarf, producing fast putting surfaces.

The Heartbreaker nine is known for its mix of distinctive holes, with the closing three in particular taking advantage of the site's elevation and views across the lake.
