About RTJ Golf Trail at Highland Oaks

Highland Oaks sits in the southeast corner of Alabama and is part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. The complex has three championship nine-hole courses plus a nine-hole short course, and includes some of the longest and most classically styled holes on the Trail. Each nine has its own character. In 2020 the championship nines were regrassed with TifEagle Ultradwarf greens and the practice area was redesigned with new short game and putting greens.

The Highlands nine forms the core of the property and plays relatively open, with lakes in play on four holes and a peninsula green among them.

The Magnolia nine takes its name from the specimen magnolias scattered across its higher ground, which is reached by a 1,000-foot wooden bridge crossing a marsh.
