Alpine Bay Golf Club

Alpine Bay Golf Club in Alpine, Alabama, plays over a Robert Trent Jones Sr. design. In keeping with the architect's approach, the layout asks for strategy rather than raw length: each par 4 and par 5 features a defined landing area, and tee shots hit beyond those zones often leave awkward downhill or sidehill lies on the undulating terrain.

The routing does not return to the clubhouse at the turn — the ninth green sits at the farthest point of the property from the clubhouse. A beverage cart typically circulates on Fridays, weekends and holidays, and the pro shop carries golfing basics such as gloves, balls, caps and shirts.
