About Anchorage Golf Course
Anchorage Golf Course occupies the lower hillside of South Anchorage, within Alaska's Anchorage Bowl. The public 18-hole layout, designed by architect Bill Newcomb, is sculpted into the terrain and plays roughly 6,600 yards.
The setting takes in the Chugach Mountain Range, the Anchorage skyline, Cook Inlet and Denali. Practice facilities include a grass driving range, served by a ball dispenser at each end, along with chipping and putting areas. The golf shop operates year-round.
